Texas May 2019 - Day 4

Well this is going to be a relatively short post because we stayed up way too late again... and we have plans tomorrow which involves us getting up before noon.  It is currently 1:24 am, the kids have been sleeping since 7:30, and AA has been sleeping for a few hours already too.  DD got back from his trip to somewhere near San Jose at just after midnight.  

Today did not go as planned by the adults for the following reasons:

1. B threw up this morning, therefore did not go to school

2. T got into to see the allergist appointment MBMell called yesterday and got an appointment today....  and didn't want to go to school without B

Therefore, we ate breakfast at home and stayed home all day other than the doctor appointment.

So B stayed with AA in the morning.

The 3 of us ventured to the allergist appointment.  It went pretty good, T listened, asked questions and eventually found out he was going to go for testing, in 1 weeks.  Crazy how fast the appointments are made.  Sorry guys Lola won't be there to support the doctors visit this time.

We learned about an otoscope as well as read all the posters and talked about blood pressure and body parts/organs that MBMell and Lola got removed.  The doctor was very nice, and tried to give us all the information he could about the testing.

Back to the house to check on B and AA.  By that time B had puked about 4 times, but had started to feel better, ate her waffle, and was reading her cookbook once again.   Poor girl just had a rough time with the vaccinations.  Lola knows how that feels. She was feeling better to play a little dress up!

We pulled together lunch (as eating at the house was not the adults plan).

While B napped, T decided he was going to be a pain.  He didn't sleep. He did stay in his room for a while, to allow the adults to do some things they wanted to do, like finish hanging pictures, put up the new light over the table and break down all the boxes.

This was the start of T making the rest of our day not so great.  We survived and he did well at supper and bed time, but before that he had a hard time.  AA and Lola tried to keep B entertained while T and MBMell tried to get cleaned up after an incident.  We hung out outside with the cool Gekko, we walked around the green space behind their yard and looked at the wild flowers, and we even took AA for a bike ride (he had to run as he didn't have a bike).

B was feeling much better after her nap.

We ate supper, which was good, we made rice, mahi-mahi, and carrots.  

B got a bath, and we listened to an audio book during that time.  The kids went to bed well, thankfully.  

After kids were sleeping, AA did some work, and the girls, continued to get things done around the house.  Hung 2 towel holders (forgot to take photos), hung a shelf to hold some photos, fixed the 2 book shelves that broke and then worked on a Disney Photo wall project MbMell wanted to get started.  We ordered photos, and made a plan, but they won't come in time for us to hang them up, but i think we can get the nails ready.

AA watched the cool sloth swimming documentary, that DD showed me during my January visit, and now it is bed time.

Tomorrow we are hoping to have an "adult" day, but we will see what happens.  Hopefully we can get to a few stores in the domain like we wanted to do today.
