Texas May 2019 - Day 2

This morning we let Mell sleep in for mothers day!  DD got up with the kids, Lola got up about an hour later.  We had some breakfast and then we played.   First we had to look through the Star Wars cook book.  It is amazing how the kids can remember the recipe names by the photos, Wookie Cookies, Jabba jigglez and Bossk Brownies.  We did puzzles, we built things, we smashed things, we built more things, and we smashed more things.

AA on his way, found a moose in Calgary!

Lola and the kids went for a bike ride to get some outside time, as the kids were getting a little to restless in the play room.  T was concerned that MBMell would be upset if i rode her bike... a few seconds later he said "she won't be mad because you are twins, right?".  the response was "no T, we are not twins, but she won't be upset".  "oh.... you just dress the same and look the same".  Yes T yes.  So we headed to the garage to get our helmets on and hit the road!  Good thing MBMell had taken me on the route the day before, so I knew the rules, and the route.

We had a lot of fun, we even asked to go around again.  I think we were out for like 30 minutes at least?  They biked hard!  There were a few falls, and a crash because they were looking at a puppy instead of paying attention, but no bandaids required.

Back at the house MBMell was up when we got back.  T couldn't wait to give her the mothers day present.  He did pretty good keeping it a secret!  Then Lola made Denver's for lunch and we all enjoyed lunch together.

Kids went down for a nap, DD went to pick up AA and Lola and MBMell got some frozen nails on! It was fun, and now i have some cute Anna and Elsa Nails:)

We quickly got ready and then got the kids up to get ready for the show.  MBMell got us awesome "sister" shirts that were Frozen themed and B wore his Elsa dress.  To our surprise T didn't want to dress up for the show, was happy wearing his dog shirt with sunglasses that flip up!

We headed to the show at the HEB Center in Cedar Park.  It was a pretty easy drive of about 20 minutes.   The show was amazing.  I don't know who enjoyed it more, the adults or kids... I think it was a tie.  Frozen on Ice was awesome! We really enjoyed how we got to see the whole story, and we even got to see some other disney characters because it was Mickey's 90th birthday!

Turner took great photo of us.  The second time we asked, he got more creative just snapping photos as our head got cut off and it was just our stomaches.

The costumes, skating, special effects were all very good.

Someone was a little scared of Marshmallow, but did just fine snuggled up!

the "snow" was thick!

We gave the boys the job of getting supper and dessert.  They did a very good job!  We even a sat a the dinning room table!  The kids were sure excited to see AA, and talked all about the show, what we have done so far and just life.  After supper a quick house tour by the kids to AA and then off to bed.

setting the table!

The house tour.

AA was pretty tired, so he went to bed shortly after that, and the rest were not too far behind.  DD is leaving early in the morning for work, and the rest of us have to be up early for drs appointments.

What a fun mothers day!  Happy Mothers day to all the mothers out there!

Good night.

Lola.
