Nashville #jamieturns32 - day 5

Today was our last day in Nashville, and J's birthday!  We have had a great trip!  We went out for breakfast at "another broken egg cafe", where E didn't eat too much as he and Adam finished off the bottle of bourbon last night.

Our condo.

Breakfast was ok.  After breakfast we walked to 2 of the gift shops we had previously visited to pick up some gifts, and souvenirs that we didn't want to leave behind.  The sun was shinning and quite warm today, so we were quite warm by the time we were done.  We got back to the condo just before 11 when we had to check out.  We finished off some of the food, and took our bags just down the street to the "stay Alfred" office were they kept our bags for a few hours.

Once we had dropped that off, we headed to the Veterans bridge, that we had tried to get on a few days ago, but was unsuccessful.  The walk was good, and views of the sky line were amazing.  We then headed along the water to check out Fort Nashborough, and old settlement on the banks of the river.

We then walked back to get our bags and head to the airport, we were early, but E was not feeling the greatest and we had really seen the scenes of downtown.  A short Uber ride and we were there.  Went through security, and found a place to eat.  Maybe not the best choice at the Gibson restaurant, as we waited over 1 hour for food, we think our waiter didn't punch our order in.... and then my meal came out on bread.  Not a great experience, and therefore no photos.

Off to Minneapolis to find hopefully a better meal, and wait for our last flight of the trip.  The food was pretty good, except Lola decided to have burger and fries while everyone else had a salad... there was also a comment made about not weighing herself since July, which AA said was a good thing....

We are thankful we were invited on this great birthday trip, and we hope we can do it again sometime soon....

Till Next time...(maybe 33 days).

Lola
