Nashville - #jamieturns32 - Day 1

We got up bright an early to head to the airport with Eric and Jamie (who stayed the night), to head to Nashville through Minneapolis.  We left the house at 4:45 in the Cab, and got to the airport before 5am.  E and J got pre-scanned with their backpack, so ended up going through the short line compared to the long line Lola and AA were in.  While in line, noticed many NBC sports announcers including Jeremy Roenick.  They were in the city to broadcast Jets vs Maple Leafs last night.
Security and Customs were pretty uneventful, then we waited to board the plane.

J picked Nashville as the location to celebrate her 32nd birthday and we are happy she invited us to come as Nashville is definitely a place that was on the list of places we wanted to visit.

We made it to Minneapolis airport with no issues, tried to make the best of our 3 hour layover by eating food, browsing the shops, and AA did some work.  It went by pretty quickly.  Then off to Nashville were we arrived just before 2pm.  We got off the plane as fast as we could as both Lola and J had to pee really badly, and our whole flight they didn't turn the seat belt sign off.  Maybe it was a mistake, but I don't break that rule.  Lola enjoyed here peanuts and tomato juice on the flight while watching a Pitch Perfect 3.  She was 10 minutes short from finishing the movie (hopefully on the way home she can finish).

The moon was bright, the windows were dirty.

Enjoyed Spam in the airport

We made it to our Condo we rented using an Uber.  It was a short 19 minute ride, and it only cost us $9.00.  AA had a discount code! Once here we dropped off our bags and headed to Walgreen's to get Coke and then stopped at "the Library" for some Bourbon.  Back at the condo we had a little break while waiting for the food deliver that AA figured out how we could get it delivered to our condo! Thanks Amazon Prime!

Then we headed to the Listening Room.  It was a 19 minute walk (which took us a little longer) we aren't used to the hills.  The building was an old tractor location!  AA thought it was great.  Inside we got seated, ordered some awesome food, and then enjoyed the music of the show at 6:00.  The food was great and the entertainment was excellent too.  The artists told stories, sang songs, and entertained us.

Then we headed for a quick walk down Broadway, stopping only in the chocolate shop that smelt delicious, and then headed back to the condo.  We are pretty tired from being up at 4 is this morning.

So far our experience has been positive, and we can't wait till tomorrow. But bed time must come quickly!
