Surprise, we are meeting our friends in California for a few days to finish off our week of holidays. They are currently on their epic road trip where we meet them in Florida in May.
We went to the airport for 5am and headed to Palm Springs through Calgary. We had no issues at the airports and when we arrived it was sure warm. While we were in Calgary we saw Jillian Harris and Justin (with their kids). Lola tried to photo bomb..... but didn't make it into the photo but AA did!

Picked up our pimpin' rental car, and went to Deny's for lunch. Palm Springs was very brown and all the building are very low, with the mountains very close to the city. We got a few groceries and some half sweet half unsweet tea from McDonalds for the drive.
Once we were fuelled we headed to Anaheim to meet our friends. They had quite the day, with a forgotten otter in a hotel, and work meeting at the the hotel room where the room wasn't ready, and LA traffic. AA and Lola hung out at the hotel pool once they arrived while waiting for the rest to arrive. The sun was going down behind the buildings so we didn't stay too long, but enjoyed the lounge area outside, the weather was nice.
We walked to the restaurant "Roy's" for some Hawaiian fusion, where the other met us there. DD had the best fish he has ever had, and we all enjoyed our meals. The kids wouldn't let Lola get a word in, so while DD and AA chatted about their adventure, B and T told Lola stories about their road trip.
We headed back to the hotel where T had wasn't happy about anything, so Lola gave the special delivery of glasses to B, and B hung out with Lola and AA, and fell asleep in their room, while the rest dealt with T. It will be an early morning tomorrow, so we went to bed just before midnight.
