We said goodbye to our friends and headed back to Palm Springs to catch our flight. It was really hard to say goodbye. Even B was sad that we were going home.
The drive was pretty uneventful, except about 30 minutes into the 2 hour drive, we found out our flight was delayed.
So on the way we stopped at the outlet mall. Lola got a purse, and we got some McDonalds for lunch.
Got to the airport with no issues, and wow it was hot in Palm Springs (45 degrees C), returned the car, and headed to wait for our plane.
The flight was delayed about 45 minutes, but we had plenty of time in Calgary Airport to make our connection.
While we were getting to the airport, our friends enjoyed their morning at California Adventure, going on our favorite rides again! We got updates throughout the day.
Once in Calgary, we got through customs with no issues, had some dinner and Starbucks, and got on our flight to Winnipeg.
We had a great trip, and really love California!
We got home around midnight!
