Disneyland 2019 - Day 6

Well Lola's Long weekend is pretty much over. Sitting in LAX airport waiting to board the plane missing all my peeps.

The other 3 travellers are in a different terminal across this huge airport, while AA is on a plane in Wichita, and DD is at work.

Our night was really short last night, as B had some Night Terrors in the middle of the night.  She didn't want me to touch her (even though I was trying to sleep in the same bed). It lasted a while of hysterical crying, hitting and then eventually we figured out she just wanted to "kick me"  So I got back into be turned my back to her, and she continued to push her feet into my back.  She calmed eventually.  After that she did wake up, sit up, and tell us she was hungry.  I gave her some cheddar bunny's after a discussion about how she didn't want them, and that they have them sometimes after swimming, and on and on.  After I fed her a few (like 10), she drank some water, and went back to bed.  All night (the 3 hours of sleep I got) B had her feet touching me.

This morning she remembers the cheddar bunnies, but nothing else.

We got up to pack our bags this morning and head for our last Disney morning.  We had a character breakfast at Storytellers Cafe.  We met Pluto (T's pup), Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale.  The food was ok, but MbMell wasn't feeling so well, but tried her best to eat some food.  The kids enjoyed the Parade, that they are so used to doing, but didn't get a maraca so B was a little disappointed.

I got an awesome omelette, hashbrowns and fruit made personally by the Chef for me! (no contamination).

After breakfast we headed back to Downtown Disney to do the "gift shop".  The kids did very well picking the 1 clothing item, as well as one toy.  They really didn't have the dilemma like last time, but T did convince B to get a "puppy" that he wanted, because he wanted 2.  We made sure B knew she could make her own choice, but she insisted.

After that, the ladies had their first and only Starbucks of the trip.  At this point MbMell was feeling a little better, which was great, as Lola was concerned about the Bus ride back to the airport as well as the flight.  It was also really cool that there were new Halloween decorations out today.

We made it back to the hotel to finish the packing of the bags, and head to the bus stop for our shuttle pick up.  It was pretty slick that we got picked up right in front of our hotel.

Off to the airport we went.  The kids did really well, playing with their new stuffed friends, and also sticker books.

Lola got dropped off first at Terminal 2, and the other were dropped off at Terminal 4.  Hugs on the bus, and waves good bye.  As Lola was approaching the terminal, she got a text message from Delta saying her gate was moved to Terminal 3....  So a short 4min walk outside (thankfully she hadn't gone through security yet, as that walk would have been 39 minutes) and she arrived at Terminal 3.  As she stopped to look at the map, she was very excited to see Shake Shake as the restaurant.  One of her favorites.  They didn't have the gluten free bun, but the lettuce wrap was amazing.

After eating, she headed to the gate to wait.  As she waited, she texted with MbMell to see status, and things went ok for them.  they got some lunch too, and got on their plane!

They got to their home before Lola got to her connecting airport.  T was sure excited to talk about the Monster Inc Ride with his dad.

Lola had a pretty uneventful flight to MSP, and then met up with AA who was traveling for work at the gate.  He was gracious to get her some McDonalds, as she hadn't eaten supper.  Also Lola texted him to ask if they could get seats together, and so he went and asked and got me a new boarding pass! (also surprised that they would just give it to him, with out me there.)

Exit rows aren't my favorite but the short flight wasn't so bad.  I was just happy to be reunited with AA.  Not sure what AA thought, as Lola chatted his ear off....  Lola watched Lilo and Stitch to get ready for one of the future trips coming up.  Ohana means family, no one gets left behind or forgotten!  She may have shed a few tears during the movie.

AA parked at the airport so easy getting home!

The trip was great, and now back to the real world, well for 2 days till the weekend :)

Thanks for reading, and see what October brings...

Lola.
