Disneyland 2019 - Day 4

This morning sure came early.  Lola pushed snooze only once before heading to the shower, just after 6:30am.  We made it to breakfast a little later than we planned but still made it to the park just after 8, despite T not having a very good morning.

Once in Disneyland Park, it was quite exciting to see a large jack-o-lantern just as you enter the entrance, a quick wardrobe change before meeting "his pup" Goofy.  It was such a great visit.  Then we headed to Space Mountain, so B could finish off her "mountain" rides (hard to see us in the photo but were are in the middle).  Lola and B went on the ride, while MbMell and T stayed around the ride. Lola couldn't really remember the ride, but it was pretty dark and pretty fast... B did very well (but did say she didn't need to do that ride again...maybe when she is a little older).

We did very well today sticking to our schedule!  Pinocchio's Daring Journey next, and a bonus It's a Small World with a trip to Toon Town to see Minne's House, Mickey's House and Meet Mickey, then another coster for Lola and B, Gadget Go Coaster while Turner checked out Goofy's house (play structure).  We also got to see T's favorite Pup, Pluto.

Back to Fantasy Land for Mr. Toads Wild Ride and Peter Pan's Flight.

Snack time, where B, T and MbMell had pretzels while Lola had a spicy pickle, beef jerky and an Iced Tea.

Up next, Launch Bay to meet Chewbacca and Darth Vader.  A little disappointed there was no PhotoPass person at these meet and greets, but it was still a good time. Lola still loves meeting Chewbacca, he talks so cool, and is just so tall and friendly.

We then headed to meet Princess Tiana (since we missed Moana yesterday).  She just wonders around, so we asked a worker, and she gave us some tips.  MbMell is very good at character spotting, so we found her and went for a wonderful little walk with her.  B had a great conversation.  We walked around Tarzans Treehouse before lunch.

Then we headed to Jolly Holiday Bakery for some lunch.  It was pretty hot by then, but found a spot in the shaded eating area, and enjoyed our sandwiches (kids had Mac and Cheese).

To get out of the heat and help cure the Cranky Kids, we headed back to the hotel to hopefully have a nap.  We were successful getting them to sleep!  Lola got T to sleep before she headed back to the park to check out Galaxy's Edge.  So the reason the others didn't get to go explore this section, was because DD wanted to be there to experience for the first time with his Kids.  Understandable, but Lola is very grateful she got the opportunity to go.

Lots of photos of the cool areas were taken, as well as all the vehicles, droid and just neat atmosphere.  She went on the new attraction, Millennium Falcon, which was good, but not Awesome.  She also got her "magic shot" with a Porg.  B has really shown me the love for the Porg.  Lola doesn't know much about Starwars, but it was still a cool experience. She headed back after a visit to a few gift shops and a few solo photos.

The kids just barely were waking up by the time Lola got back to the hotel.  It was hot out, it was a great thing that the kids slept. Back to the park stopped for some more Pumpkin photos and then headed for supper at Hungry Bears Restaurant and a few more rides, including Pirates of the Caribbean (just B and Lola), as well as Jungle Cruise.  They also took a ride around the park on the Train. Once making it a full circle, they went to their parade spot, and waited for the greatly anticipated Main Street Electrical Parade.  MbMell had seen in long time ago at DisneyWorld, but they brought it to Disneyland for a limited time.

We all enjoyed it very much even through it wasn't as flashy and modern as the other parades we have seen in the past.  We waited another 30 minutes to see the Disneyland show on It's a Small World.  This is a projection show with fireworks.  It was very good, and worth the wait.

And we can't leave Disneyland Park without one last Dole Whip.  We found a new location that has different flavors, so MbMell and Lola had Raspberry and Pineapple Swirl, while B had just raspberry and T went with the classic Pineapple.  Lets not mention that this was about 10:30 at night already.  It was enjoyed by all, and then we headed back to the Hotel.

Can't believe those kids walked even late at night, as well as thankful they had a nap to be able to stay up a little later tonight. Tomorrow is our last full day together, and we are heading back to California Adventure.

Here are a few glamor shots by Lola, while we waited for the Parade.

We are excited to see what Halloween stuff is out there now since a few days ago when we were there! Everyone is sleeping while I finish the blog, so I better finish up to get to bed too!

Hope you all had a great long weekend!

Lola.
