Disneyland 2019 - Day 3

Today we had a more relaxed morning.  We "slept in", well we set our alarm for 8am, but T woke up at 7 and couldn't sleep anymore.  Lola let him go on the ipad (both in her bed) so that we could sleep some more.  MbMell got another hour of sleep!

We headed over to the Grand California Hotel for a Princess Breakfast.  It was an amazing time, and food was super good.  Lola's favorite part was the appetizers (they modified them for her allergies), MbMell liked how relaxed and calm it was, B couldn't believe her eyes when the desserts came, while T loved the Princesses, and telling all of them that his favorite ride was Toy Story Mania, and that he got the small beaver, while Lola (insert real name) got the big beaver. 

We ate so much food, met 6 princesses (see photos below), and enjoyed the fancy atmosphere.  It was an awesome time, and Lola took so many pictures of B just making faces at the food, and loving every minute of it!  We even got to hear a story from Mulan.  The kids also got autograph books from the breakfast, this was a new thing, that they caught onto fast.

After breakfast, we headed back, well through security, to turn around before we scanned our day tickets in the wrong park without a park hopper.  Lets count how many times we went through security.

Once to get to breakfast, 2 times to re-enter into the park entrance area, then Lola 1 more time to take the desserts back to the hotel, then MbMell to go get the autograph books from the hotel that Lola just took there, for a total of 5 times collectively.

Into Disneyland Park we went.  First stop photo, the photographer was amazing and just bossed the kids around and made them pinky swear that they would listen to the adults and the other photographers.

It was hot, and T just wanted to go on inside rides, and reiterating the order of which things should go.... Photo, Character, Ride, Photo, Character, Ride......Photo, character, Ride.  When we did Photo, Character, Character, Photo, he was not impressed. We were pretty excited as the last time we came to Disneyland Park the castle was covered up.  This time we got to see it and it looks so good.  Shorter than Disneyworld but has its own look.

We went on some rides today, including Its a Small World, King Arthur Carousel,  Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Storybook Land Canal Boats, Snow White's Scary Adventures, Alice in Wonderland, and the famous Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room.

We had a snack, MbMell with a Cheesecake Milkshake, while the kids and Lola shared a protein snack box. (after a little Hangry Meltdown from T).  We also ate at Bengal Barbecue with meat skewers and rice.  To top it off we had Dole Whip to make the Tiki Room a little more enjoyable.

We had a pretty good day despite how hot it was.  Kids are sleeping and the adults should soon too.  Tomorrow is another packed day of Disneyland Park.  Crowd levels are predicted to be lower, so we are hopeful we will get through our list!  Today we only did about 16000 steps, but the kids were still pretty tired when we got back to the hotel.

Oh and Lola and MbMell can't handle the spinning tea cups, so the kids were wishing AA or DD were around, but instead they pretended to spin in the stationary tea cup!
