We woke up at around 7 this morning as T was yelling as he had pooped. The light wasn’t green and DD didn’t realize that it was so early so it was a little back and forth, kids in room, kids out of room, time to get up, time to stay in your bed. We all knew when it was finally 7:50, as two cute kids barged into our room to tell us it was time to get up as the light was green.
The morning was busy as we had to pack. AA got the twinkies breakfast,and Lola ate it with them. The twinkies were super excited to go, and B put her packed backpack on for hours before we actually left.
we did puzzles while we waited for MbMell to finish packing.
Off to San Antonio for the day to see some sights and check out Disney on Ice! It was a journey getting there. Here are the coles notes
1. about 15 minutes into car ride, T drops Emma (stuffed dog) where no one can reach it...
2. Sang Disney songs on Our 1.5 hr car ride.
3. Stopped in San Marco to use the Tesla supercharger ,by the time we left, there were 6 Tesla’s chArging (max capacity)
4. Supercharger at outlet mall, 40 minutes to charge, equals ladies purchasing new runnng shoes
5. B spots play ground as drove by, finds it Again on trip to outlet bathroom
6. Continued onto interstate heading for lunch at Denny’s in New Bruntfauls
7. After lunch heading Towards San Antonio, stop for pee break at Walmart for T
8. Twinkies finally nap when we only had 15 minutes left to destination.
8. Made it to the river walk!
Once in San Antonio, we parked and headed to get on a boat to see the river walk area, We learned about the flood gates, the architecture and had a nice boat ride.
Highlights, the convention centre is over 1millom square feet, there is a building that was designed As an optical illusion, and a stage was used in a famous movie with Sandra bullock.
After that we headed to the air conditioning to have some drinks, and B had a giant pretzel. T began to not feel so well.
After that we walked to supper at the yard house. Food is very good there, and so was the washroom. B and Lola went 3times in a row.
Headed to Disney on Ice, which was a 20 minute walk, up and down a few flights of stairs to get there.
Disney On Ice was pretty good which AA and DD did not attend but rather watched the jets game. t enjoyed it more than B but they be th had tthe wait till the very end to see froze; and Moana. It was called DAre to Dream, and the songs were great!
Drove back new branfuels and spending the night at schlitterbahn, to ready to schlitter 8n the morning when it opens. Time for sleeep.
Ps, twinkies are sleeping in their own beds in the hotel, and we are very proud!
