Hawaii 2017- Day 3, Thursday

Happy American Thanksgiving. It was busy day of activities, food and friendship.  Lola is thankful that she can meet her friends in a wonderful place and enjoy the weather, food and company of people around her.

The day started with Lola and AA going for another early morning run.  It was a wonderful morning, and Lola ran the whole time just a little slower than AA.  So once she got to about 1.0 miles she couldn't find AA.  She looked up on the hill, and there he was waiting for her at the "finish line" good thing it looks and feels like paradise. Can you find him?

After that we all got ready for breakfast.  B got a braid this morning :)  On our way to breakfast on the tram, MBMell rearranged their couples massage to fit in a surprise activity, and AA and DD just needed to do a little work. This morning it was super busy at the buffet breakfast because of thanksgiving (we think), and they offered us to eat outside... yes please. Overlooking the lagoon is wonderful to eat breakfast.  We all enjoyed it.

We ate too much (again.) and decided to go to the top of the waterfall, so we walked there and tried to take some nice family photos, it was a little windy.  We saw lots of turtles from up there.

After that we headed back towards the ocean tower where we were staying, but first stopped at the puppy clock, (one of T's highlights of the trip so far).

MBMell and DD had a massage booked so before we made it all the way back to the room, they had to turn around and head back to the spa (pretty much by the puppy clock, about a 10 minute walk).  AA and Lola took the Twinkies back to the room to read some books and then have a nap as we had a great adventure planned for 2:15, so the kids had to nap before then.  We were successful with them going down for a nap around 11:30 and waking up just before 1:30!  Success.  Lola and AA read on their balcony while the twinkies napped.  They couldn't stay out there the whole time as it was too warm in the sun.

To Dolphin quest, where Lola and MBMell took the Twinkies for the 10 minute meet and great with the dolphins.  We learnt and interacted with the dolphin named Kona.  Luckily the 4 of us were our own group, and we got to meet the 33 year old dolphin.  The Twinkies and adults sure enjoyed it.  Thanks MBMell for inviting Lola to participate.  Here are some photos to show you the great time we had.

From there we went to the lagoon to snorkel and swim.  Lola reaffirmed her fear of Sea Turtles, but tried her best to stay calm.  The Twinkies enjoyed swimming with their fins and goggles, (just not at the same time).

After swimming we warmed up in towels and then took the Tram back to the Ocean Tower to get ready for Thanksgiving buffet at the hotel.  We had baths and ate a quick snack before heading to the grand ballroom. We tried to get a few family photos before supper but the Twinkies would only sit super nice for Lola and AA... kids are so funny.

Dinner was great, and we all ate too much. They surved about 700 people at the buffet.  There was also a live entertainer and peanuts thanksgiving playing on 2 giant screens.  The twinkies loved the cartoons to watch and keep them entertained.

That is the look of "best vanilla cream puff"

We walked back and T insisted that Lola takes photos with the puppy's.

We were all very proud of B today, as she told us many times that she needed to go to the potty and was very successful at making it:)  She even successful did number 2 as well!

After B and T went to bed we played some cribbage and drank so beverages.  Had some good laughs and then headed to bed. Tomorrow is a busy day as we are moving islands.
