Trains, trophies, and tricks at pelican lake

Well our weekend was great, besides the horrible weather that rolled in last night.  The snow and high winds didnt stop us from enjoying our evening.

Here are some photos of the snow.

Here are the highlights;
- we watched the Canadian Men's hockey team win the gold medal
- got Phyllis addicted to ticket to ride

- found out Murray (The score keeper) is hard to make him pick up tricks in a game of hearts.  Also during the many games of hearts, a new nick name of AJ was given to Adam, see if it sticks.

- saw the local Portage Terriers win the RBC cup! (Nice that it was televised)

We also began another puzzle, but didn't get the sky done, but not to worry that puzzle came home with me to finish....

AA also brought home a nice surprise from Montreal and we all got to enjoy some Swartz's Smoked Meat for lunch today.

On our way home, we experienced muddy roads, snow drifts in the ditches, to lakes in the farmers fields.  Hopefully the warm weather comes and stays for a while.

Snow in the ditch near the cabin on the highway.

Field by Fannystelle.

Almost home,

Lola
