Today was our last day at Universal Studios Orlando. We packed up our stuff in the hotel room, loaded the car, checked our bags at with the hotel and headed to Island of adventure to catch the last 2 rides on our "to do list".

We arrived at the park just before 10am. We were going to do the Spiderman Ride, but decided we should head over to Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure just in case it started to rain and we would miss out.
We got to the ride, and it had a 75 minute wait. This was an average time we had seen, was up to 110 minutes as some times during the days we had been there. This ride was new since we have been at Universal, and we were excited to try it, as it is the longest and most expensive roller coaster in Orlando. We weren't too sure if the kids were really going to like it, but weren't willing to "test" it out and wait in the line again.
To our surprise the wait wasn't too bad, but maybe that was because it was over cast, and not super hot. We enjoyed all the cool stuff in the queue. Lola's favorite part were the huge dragon eggs in one of the rooms. (never took a photo of them)
There was a pumpkin in Hagrid's pumpkin patch that had a claw mark in it. The entire day the kids were trying to figure out who could have done that pumpkin, it was quite amusing. I am not sure we will ever figure it out, and we are sure the discussion about it is not over.
The ride was pretty amazing, and the kids kept their eyes open pretty much the whole time. We all enjoyed it, and the kids handled the G's and the hard banks very well! There were magical creatures throughout the ride, so the kids were trying to count how many. It was sure fun to talk about it after. MBMell enjoyed the ride, but her body doesn't do super well with that kind of motion.
So we headed for another Harry Potter Themed lunch, to Three Broomsticks, to get some sit down time, and carbs in the body. Beef Pasties, Smoked chicken and Shepard's Pie were on the menu today. We all enjoyed it but B, and talked about the pumpkin pretty much the whole time.
After lunch, we had to get one more look at the Pixies in a Coldrin... kids really love them
We then headed to the last ride to check off our list, The Adventures of Spiderman. The kids decided they didn't want to go, so MBMell decided to stay with them instead of child swapping. That was a good choice, as we don't think her stomach could have taken another ride with that much motion.
This is the rating of the ride...
Lola's 3D glasses fell off her face 2 times, she had to close her eyes too many times because things were "flying" at her face, and you know, she is not much of a Spiderman or comic kind of girl.
MBMell and the kids went to go meet Blue the Raptor while we were on the ride, they had a blast, and the person took a good 40 photos of the events. Lola spotted Dole Whip, so 4 of us enjoyed an afternoon snack :)
The kids wanted one last spin on the Acceletron. They had a good time, Lola got a shirt from the gift shop and away they went back to the hotel to get to their next adventure.
We walked back on the Garden walk, and saw so many Geckos.... i think we got up to 47.
DD got the car, and Lola and AA caught an Uber to their next destination. Treehouse Villa's at Saratoga Springs. Are we camping, as we are secluded, don't feel like we are at Disney, and in the forest.
We settled into the room, and headed to Disney springs by boat for Supper. We went to the Polite Pig, where DD loved all the sauces, Lola ordered off the kids menu, and B was just so tired.
We shopped around the Disney Store and the Lego Store (but didn't buy anything), and headed back to the hotel. Journal writing and then a little planning before bed. We have a very early morning tomorrow to get to our first Disney Park! Any guesses, it is May the 4th!
The alarm is set for 6 am.....
Good night, Lola.
