Florida 2022 - Day 11

 Today was a later start as we got to bed later than we all wanted. Our feet are sore and our energy levels are low. DD didn't make it out with us as he may have drank his way around a little too hard.

The park was pretty busy by the time we got there just before 11 to catch the parade.

Headed to Rockn' Roller Coaster where we waited in line for almost 60 minutes, when over the intercom you heard that the ride goes upside down.  Once T heard that he knew he didn't want to go, MBM and T politely left the line and waited for us at the exit.  B was so excited.  The ride wasn't anything AA and Lola remembered but was so good. Lola also didn't think she screamed as much as the others in the car, but..... from the photo she definitely screamed at the beginning. 

Next we headed for lunch. Woody's Lunch box.  The food was good, but there isn't enough seating and some of us had to stand to eat.  But the meal to get was Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup....not much of a 30 degree outside kind of meal, but enjoyed by all.  

DD joined us at this point as he really wanted to go to Oga's Cantina.  We had a reservation (which is hard to get). We headed back into to Galaxy's Edge (Black Spire) to get to our reservation.  The Cantina was very cool, you were given 45 minutes to have your drink and then on to the next.  The drinks had unique flavors, MBM's had a fuzzy foam that caused her mouth to feel very funny.  T, B and Lola all had Jabba Juice which was so good, fruit juice with melon and apple balls. 

Next up, was suggested by the kids to go to the gift store.  A shoulder Porg and Tooka were purchased.  The kids were so excited.

We then met Olaf, where he interacted with the Tooka and Porg, it was pretty funny. And DD forgot to take his sunglasses off.

The Mickey and Minnie Vacation Short, where T loved the Panda so much, he laughed so hard that we all were laughing so hard at how much he was laughing.  It was very good and a seat with air conditioning. At that point DD was done, so he headed back to the hotel.  We continued to Meet Minnie and Mickey. 

Headed back to Star Wars to get some magic shots we were looking for, and head to smugglers run, as that was the only thing she wanted to do. We waited in the long line and about 40 minutes into the wait, T really had to go pee.  He was so sad that he waited all this time and couldn't hold it. MBM and T decided that he couldn't hold it, so they left the line winding back and forth and back and forth backwards through the line.  Once they made it to the front explained to the cast member, and headed to the bathroom. On their return they were able to rejoin us using the Lighting lane as Lola sent photos as to wear they were in line. T was so happy that he didn't wait in that line.

B and Lola were pilots this time, while AA and T were Gunners and MBM headed to the Engineer position. The ride was just as good as the last time.  T shot down 10 ships, while AA only got 7. 

Then we all did Star Tours on our way to Supper. 

We then headed for supper at The Hollywood Brown Derby.  The food was very good, and we got a nice quiet table in the corner of the restaurant.  The walls were covered with caricatures.  The kids were hangry and devoured a charcuterie board before their steak and vegetables. MBM got their famous Grapefruit Cake.

We headed to our last ride of the night, Slinky Dog Dash.  It was so neat in the dark, after we waited for 50 minutes in line. It was so much fun!

We caught the end of the Wonderful World of Animation.  We walked between the fireworks explosions, and scared us a lot.  Good thing we had stopped to use the washroom.

Back to the hotel for bed, but today we got DD to come pick us up from the bus stop instead of having to walk!
