Texas - The wait was over

T and B have been waiting for a while for Lola to come, including a long day yesterday for T to wait, to go to bed before she arrived.  In the morning, she went into their room and was greeted with the biggest hug, smile and shriek that she was finally there! Long hugs and a million words were shared. What a nice warm welcome from the twinkies.

The day was spent chilling at the house and in the neighbourhood just enjoying each others company.
Highlights from the day:
 We played, we read, we walked, we got the mail, we ate, we sang, we cried a little, we baked, we cleaned, we peed on the potty, we played some more, we snacked, and most importantly MBMell and Lola just had some good chats!

The twinkies took lola to a park that was just down the street, where we walked on a beautiful path, saw a creek with tiny fish, we saw a squirrel, some sticks, a puppy and just enjoyed the time outside.  It was hot though... even for the morning, it was sure a little sweaty today (low 30's).

We also wore our pineapple shirts today which was so fun!  Tomorrow we are going on an adventure so time to hit the pillow.  I will leave you with some photos from today!
